Offering to Teide

This mural was created as part of the Boreal Festival, inspired by the words of photographer Domingo Sosa:

“These rocks have emerged from the depths, and the way they have done so defines their presence. Some have tumbled down the slope into pools; others, however, have ended their journey quickly, their fate sealed by their high viscosity. Still others have been violently ejected, crushed upon impact with the ground; or have fallen like an unreal rain of fragments, carpeting the surrounding landscape.

This, then, is also the realm of Gaia, a place sculpted by blows from hell, by fire.”
